Mercutio and Benvolio

We made a scene of "Romeo and Juliet" and I made it with Aylén. Aylén was Mercutio and I was Benvolio.

LOVE or HATE?

Most people think that Romeo and Juliet is more about love, but in my opinion, it’s more about hate.

First, most of the time the servants of Lord Capulet and the ones of Lord Montague are fighting. They are not the only ones that are fighting; Romeo, Mercutio and Tybalt do it too. Also, most of the characters die: Count Paris, Mercutio and Tybalt died because they were fighting. Lord Capulet and Lord Montague hated each other and this caused the death of Romeo and Juliet, the main characters. When Tybalt realised that Juliet was in love with Romeo, he considered Lord Montague’s son a villain. That’s why, Mercutio and Tybalt started fighting and they finally died. Juliet didn’t want to marry Count Paris because she loved Romeo, so she drank the potion that Friar Laurence gave her; Romeo thought that she was dead and he committed suicide. Finally, Romeo was banished from Verona and his mother, Lady Montague, died the same day his son committed suicide because the fact that Romeo was banished, broke her heart.

To sum up, I think Romeo and Juliet is more about hate than love because a lot of people died and for me this story is very sad.

Comprando una casa

En la clase de Lengua nos pidieron realizar un texto en parejas en el cual se puedan convertir desventajas en ventajas. Yo lo hice con Aylén.

Es una casa pequeña pero muy fácil de limpiar. Está a quince cuadras de la playa, pero son pocos minutos en auto y realizas ejercicio caminando. No tiene luz eléctrica ni agua corriente, aunque hay una bomba de agua en la cual la podes recogerla manualmente; lo bueno de esto es que no hay que pagar impuestos por luz ni agua y el agua que se extrae de la bomba tiene más nutrientes y nunca se termina. Las persianas no funcionan muy bien, hay veces en las que no se abren, y si se abren, es difícil volverlas a cerrar; la ventaja de esto es que entra luz solar. Además, hay un perro bastante viejo y malhumorado que no deja entrar a extraños y rara vez a los conocidos; lo bueno de esto es que obtienen la seguridad de un perro guardián.
